Each is uniquely themed and is excellently self-contained, similar to that of the Simpsons episode that it's modeled after. Not only that, but each of them has original dialogue that has been recorded by the stars of the show as well as by the supporting cast. As anyone knows, it just wouldn't be the same without the real cast members voicing the stars of the show so it's great to see that EA spent the extra dough to nab both the creators and the talent to authenticate the overall experience. As you'd expect, The Simpsons Game can largely be summarized by calling it a platformer. You'll get to play as all four characters, though typically only two will be available in a level, and those two characters are predetermined by the game.
Homer has also implied that he wouldn't mind if Bart changed 100% and that he isn't very attached to him as he is. Ned Flanders is Homer's perfect neighbor whose belongings are usually "borrowed" by Homer and never given back. Homer takes obvious advantage of his push-over neighbor and is usually an avid participant in the one-sided rivalry the two have going on, although Ned sometimes gets caught up in Homer's taunts (such as when the two pit their sons against each other in a putt-putt tournament). It has also been hinted that Homer lusts after Flanders' wife, Maude .

The game's use of The Simpsons-style humor received a mixed reception. Both GameSpot and GameTrailers said that the game delivered more than enough laughs to make it worth playing through at least once. It was considered enjoyable for both hardcore and casual The Simpsons fans by IGN and GameDaily, who also called it a particularly appealing game for diehard fans. Despite the few problems that the game had, GameSpy said that it was worth it to see the humorous parodies. Eurogamer's Tom Bramwell, however, believed that the game's humor could only carry it so far, and suggested that those interested in The Simpsons humor should purchase a box set of one of the television series' seasons instead. Joe Juba of Game Informer called the game an average experience.
Another frequent topic on Homer's obesity is his large posterior which is often joked about by Bart. While his weight is debatable, the most common weight given is 239 pounds . He wears a white polo shirt, blue jeans, white underpants, and gray loafers. The DS version of the game, which was significantly different from the other versions, received praise for its unique gameplay, but criticism for its short length. IGN lauded the DS version's unique gameplay experience and GameSpot proclaimed that it was satisfying from start to finish. GameSpot and GameZone, however, were both disappointed that the game was extremely brief.
How much does Homer weigh in King Size Homer?
The game is thirty minutes long and has three levels (one at the Simpson's home, one on the streets of Springfield, and one at the plant). Aesthetically the game will please fans of the series overall as there are plenty of new cinematics that articulate the storyline with the same authenticity that you see every Sunday night. There are tons of great cutscenes that show every Simpsons character in recent memory as well as other Matt Groening characters that you likely won't see coming.

Dan Castellaneta's earliest portrayal began as a loose impression of Walter Matthau, but developed into a more robust and humorous voice during late-Season 2 and Season 3, allowing Homer to convey a wider range of emotions. Castellaneta changed the voice, as he could not sustain his Matthau impression for the 9-10 hour long recording sessions and had to find something easier. During an interview with the cast of the show on Inside the Actors Studio, Castellaneta stated that Homer's voice was based in part on his own father who often spoke with an exuberant tone.

The author then went on to say that "if I were writing today's Simpsons," Homer would be "a fat guy." Even though this episode was made before Trump became famous, it is possible that he weighed in during production meetings. If he did, then it would not be the first time that The Simpsons have referenced someone famous. Previously, they have referenced Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Tony Blair.

Homer Simpson
Lenny and Carl are Homer's co-workers at the Nuclear Power Plant, and they were familiar with Homer in their childhood days. They are Homer's most frequent companions at Moe's Tavern, after Barney. Abe Simpson claimed to have bribed Lenny and Carl to be his friends at a young age. Even though both Lenny and Carl have wives, they seem to be attracted to each other. When Homer becomes a famous Opera singer, he attracts the attention of horde of fans including a stalker by the name of Julia.

His house strongly resembles that of Tony Montana's house in the movie Scarface. In "The Ten-Per-Cent Solution", he starts panicking when his pants start tearing because he fears people will see his tattoo of "Donald Duck smoking a doob". Homer is right-handed, unlike most other characters, such as Bart and Ned. There was a temporary belief among fans that Homer has a disorder called Intermittent Explosive Disorder where the sufferer overreacts when angered resulting in violent outbursts and property damage. In "Marge vs. the Monorail", the news shows a picture of Homer with what appears to be a mouthful of unlit cigarettes. This joke was recreated several years later as a meme for the game Team Fortress 2 with the Spy class doing the same thing, only the cigarettes are lit.
Homer enjoys insulting Flanders and making his life more difficult, which Flanders all takes in stride. He has also acknowledged that Ned is his best friend, referring to him once as "Stupid Best Friend Flanders". Homer loves to see Flanders struggle because he perceives the Flanders' lives to be the unobtainable perfection that he will never have, and he especially loves beating Flanders, but he hates when Flanders is totally crushed.
The only thing really missing is a bona fide Treehouse of Horror tribute, though there are elements from the series of Halloween specials throughout the play experience. It would have been fine and dandy if the game simply reconstructed classic episodes and spit them out at gamers to play through but The Simpsons Game goes a step further and actually parodies tons of Hollywood and videogame properties as well. The game brings the cartoon household knowingly into their own videogame when Bart stumbles upon a game manual that has seemingly dropped from the heavens.
In his debut episode ("Bart the Murderer") in Season 3, both his jacket and handkerchief in his jacket pocket were originally a medium bluish gray coloration, his shirt was originally a light cobalt blue coloration, and his pants were originally a light forest green coloration. Then, officially starting as of Season 14, when the show switched to digital ink and paint, his shirt's neck collar color changed to dark teal green and his handkerchief's color changed to white. Additionally, in Seasons 3-13 the lines in his hair varied from black to white, with black being somewhat more common, but they have been officially consistently white since Season 14 as of to this day. Even the dark yellow shading in his eyebags underneath his eyes sometimes disappear and reappear in different shots, or even sometimes mix with the shadows' shading in lighted areas, in his episode appearances. Fat Tony is a pastiche of mobsters from movies and dramas, especially The Godfather franchise. (And in later seasons "The Sopranos") His nickname may be a reference to Black Tony, the Don of the fictional Stracci Family in "The Godfather."
