Within the last week I've had to redownload my entire queue, hundreds of episodes from a dozen different shows, only to find all of my downloads have been deleted once again! I use a budget data plan that charges me for data used, pre-downloading podcasts are essential for me. It's very frustrating to get out on a job without wifi and find my entire backlog randomly deleted. It would be nice to have the option of playing specific episodes by number, but that doesn’t seem to be supported yet. Even though most podcasts offer show numbers, Home doesn’t yet understand this.
To hear your news briefings, say, "OK Google, play the news." Then, tap "Add shows" to find and select NPR's news briefings. I can cast off the app, but not ask home to play from player FM, so control from phone is necessary. Worse it doesn't register progress from casting in the app - when going back to listening on the app it resumes from the point where I started casting, even if that's several episodes.
